How do I trade cards with friends?

Agree on what each person gives, check that both sides are worth about the same using current market prices for the exact printing and condition, and swap only once you both agree. In Bull Run you add a friend by scanning their QR code or entering their friend code, then trade in person by tapping phones together, or send a trade that both of you confirm.

Make it fair before you swap

A good trade is one both people are happy with later. Look up each card's current price for its exact printing and condition, add up each side, and talk about any big gap before you swap. Cards are not worth their highest price ever, and played copies are usually worth less than Near Mint ones.

Look at the actual cards

Check corners, edges and the surface in good light.
Make sure the printing is what you think it is, such as holo, reverse holo or 1st Edition.
For graded cards, read the label and check the grade.

Keep a record

Write down what changed hands and what each card was worth that day. That way your collection stays accurate and you can see later whether a trade worked out. If you ever trade with someone you have not met, agree on every detail in writing first.

How Bull Run does it

Add a friend first. On the Friends tab, tap the + button:

Show my code / Scan: standing together, one of you shows a QR code and the other taps Scan their code. You are friends straight away. The QR code changes every few minutes and only works once.
My friend code / Enter a code: share your 8-character friend code (you can copy it or send a friend link), or type theirs and tap Add. This sends a request they accept.

Trade in person:

Go to Friends, then Trades, tap New trade, then Trade in person. Both people do this.
Tap your phones together firmly. This also makes you friends if you were not already.
Each person taps + and picks the cards they give from their own collection. Both phones show both sides and each side's total value.
When it looks right, each person presses and holds Hold to confirm. Once both confirm, the cards move between your collections.

Trade when you are apart: tap New trade, then Send a trade to a friend. Build both sides, add cash or a message if you like, and send it. Your friend can accept, counter or decline, and the trade finishes when both of you confirm. Or each of you can put the cards you would give in your Queue and choose Offer these to a friend; when both offers are close in value, they become a trade proposal.

Mark cards you are happy to swap with Mark for trade, and tap I Want This Card on a friend's card to show interest.
